It’s ridiculous - I can’t remember what we ate a week ago. I’m going to have to write this up every day. I blame old age.

Monday	Indian cabbage with rice
Tuesday	lentil lasagne with spinach (lentil mix taken from the freezer)
Wednesday	[blank - can't remember]
Thursday	indian lentils with mushroom rice
Friday	chicken pie with mash and sprouts (chicken pie filling from the freezer)
Saturday	cooked supper for selves and four friends - pork and leeks in cream and cider, followed by pear, chocolate and hazelnut crumble
Sunday	from the freezer, after a long day - coriander chicken, the rest of Thursday’s lentils, rice

Friday	fish and chips from the chippy, again - I know, I know, but we were going out

Monday	beef with orange from the freezer, sprouts, roast potatoes and parsnips
Tuesday	cabbage, mozarella and pancetta with pasta
Wednesday	veg stir fry with noodles
Thursday	black pudding sausages with bubble and squeak
Friday	fish and chips from the chippy
Saturday	thai veg curry from the freezer with egg fried rice - I did some freshly deep fried potatoes to lob in too
Sunday	beef pot roast, red cabbage and sprouts, and mash

Monday	indian cabbage with basmati
Tuesday	veg tagine from the freezer, with couscous
Wednesday	cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes
Thursday	mushroom stroganoff and chips
Friday	lentil lasagne, because we fancied comfort food
Saturday	cod, prawn and fennel pie, with broccoli (like this, but without the spinach) - a tub of filling has gone in the freezer
Sunday	beef, orange and ginger casserole from the freezer, with roasted parsnips and potatoes, and steamed sprouts.

Monday	cabbage and chicken risotto
Tuesday	tub of Indian cauliflower and tomato from the freezer, with some potatoes fried in Indian spices to accompany it
Wednesday	stir fried sprouts and peanuts
Thursday	corned beef hash
Friday	stir fry, with pork, mushrooms and yellow pepper
Saturday	courgette and green pepper pasta bake
Sunday	mixed game casserole

Monday	cabbage and mozzarella - like this, but without the pancetta. Working late, couldn’t be bothered to do much, had mozzarella that needs eating
Tuesday	chicken stir fry, with mushrooms, cauliflower, peppers
Wednesday	thai veg curry (from the freezer) with rice - exhausted, having stayed up to watch the election
Thursday	lentils with shredded chicken and spinach
Friday	potato, spinach and chicken bake
Saturday	pork and apple sausages with onion gravy and mash (these sossidges were fab - wish I could remember where I got them (they came out of the freezer)
Sunday	moussaka, made with a lamb base from the freezer, and a mozzarella on top - that’s all the mozzarellas used up now

I’m going to start listing what we eat each week for our main meal, mostly for my own reference. But you might enjoy it too!

Monday	Beef with borlotti beans (out of the freezer), potato and swede mashed together, steamed Savoy cabbage
Tuesday	friend over for quick supper before we all went to see Jeremy Harding*. Two duck breasts, stirfried with a shredded leek, some mushrooms, a yellow pepper, half a cucumber, and the half a pineapple left from Sunday’s pork with pineapple (which didn’t get blogged but was vair nice). Oh, and the last of the coriander.Except we didn’t go, because Aliss was dying, and we stayed home with her. She left us at 11:10 that night.
Wednesday	chicken and apricot tagine from the freezer, with cous cous (we had to be out of the house by 6.30 p.m. to go see Show of Hands in Marlborough.
Thursday	cauliflower cheese au gratin, with potatoes and parsnips roasted in olive oil
Friday	thai veg curry from the freezer, as we were going kitten viewing in the evening
Saturday	broccoli stir fry (loosely the same as this one, but not quite)
Sunday	chicken roasted on a bed of root veg (recipe coming) and apple and pear sponge pudding (ditto)
